Rebuilding the Lives of Workers & Docents at Will Rogers State Historic Park

On January 7, 2025, the Palisades Wildfire devastated the beautiful Will Rogers State Historic Park, a site rich with historical significance. While the flames took much from us, they cannot destroy the spirit of the Park, nor the legacy of Will Rogers himself.
In response to the devastation, we are channeling the legacy and the philanthropic spirit of Will Rogers. Our plan is simple - provide critical relief to Park workers, docents and volunteers who are displaced and need to rebuild their lives. We will help with:
- Hotel placements and re-housing grants
- Grocery vouchers and meal support
- Essential hygiene and toiletry supplies
- Basic clothing needs
- Funds for transportation
Many of our park workers and volunteers live a modest life and this emergency has only exacerbated their challenges.
These dedicated individuals have given many hours of their life to support and care for The Ranch - it’s our turn to take care of them.

Will Rogers' legacy of philanthropy and compassion remains an inspiration to all. During the 1930s, when the Dust Bowl devastated the American heartland, Rogers used his fame to advocate for relief efforts and raise funds for displaced families. Will believed that even in the face of adversity, everyone can play a role in the collective effort to rebuild and restore.
